How do I Play my Music
Having an MP3 on your computer puts you on the cutting edge of music technology, but without anything to play it with it’s just wasting space on your hard drive. Luckily for us there are quite a few different players available on the Internet for free. Yes I said free. The following is a short list of free/shareware music players available on the Internet:

Like I said this is just a short list of the many available on the Internet, but in my experience these are the best. Each one of these has it’s own likes and dislikes, but the cream of the crop has to be the Winamp player made by Nullsoft. This is the choice of many surfers and yours truly as well.
Winamp offers a variety of features that make it the industry standard. You have the ability to change the look of your player by altering its skin (skin is the term used by Nullsoft to describe the look of your Winamp player), you can make play lists of your favorite songs, there are visualization plug-ins that will play to the music giving you a very psychedelic experience at times, as well as many other features.
Skins
Changing you’re the appearance of your Winamp is a very easy process.
1. You need to open your Winamp.
2. Then you right click on the top bar.
3. Next go to the skins button.
4. If you do not have any skins already downloaded you will have to click on <<Get More Skins!>>, if you already have some go to the next step.
5. The final step is to choose the skin you would like, and presto you have customized the look of your Winamp.
Play Lists
Play lists are very handy if you want to listen to more than one song and not have to open a new file at the end of every song. To make a play list you just have to follow these steps.
1. You have to either click on the play list button located on the player, you can right click on the top bar and click on play list editor, or you can press alt-e (this is the hotkey).
2. Once have opened the play list editor you have to click on the add button, and then add file.
3. After this all you have to do is chose your songs and press play.
Visualization
The visualization option is probably the coolest option that comes with the Winamp. It allows you to put on music and have a psychedelic effect go with the music.
1. The hotkey to open the visualization options menu is ctrl and K.
2. Next you chose the effect that you want and press close.
3. Now you just start any song and press ctrl shift K to start it.
4. Now just sit back and enjoy.
