Look for five Web sites that use a metaphor. Observe if the user interface of each site helps or hinders the navigation by asking yourself the following questions:

Does the metaphor actually help the user interface or take away from it?
Are the navigational elements easy to understand and use?
What type of navigational elements does the site use?
How is the site structured?
Are the intentions of the site clear to you? If not, why isn't it?

Print a copy of each site and write a small report on each site answering the questions above.
