H i! This page is about me!! I'm an egotist so this is going be fun. I'm Harald (see above), and below are pictures of me and my family! My lovely wife Lisa, and my children (from left to right) Zachary, Kylee and Stefan. And my house and dog. I am one lucky shit!!

I am currently finishing a course in Web Design. After that, I hope to begin a Computer Programming course. After that, a decent paying job in the high-tech industry.

If anyone knows of or needs someone to fill a position I am happy to be of service.

Prior to beginning the computer course I was self-employed for 9 years. I built several customhouse (including my own) and a few spec homes. Unfortunately with the fall in real estate prices and the drop in the market building spec homes is now a very risky business and I am not willing to take that risk with my families future. That is why I have decided to get out. Nobody appreciates quality anymore, they want it done yesterday at the cheapest price and then they complain if some thing goes wrong a year or so later, like the leaky condos in Vancouver. They shouldn't even be blaming the workers, the workers are only doing what they are told. If they want somebody to blame, it would be the designers, architects, engineers and city hall. Those are the people who check everything out and pronounce it good. The architects are especially stupid, they design homes and condos that were initially developed for California's dry climate. They don't take into account that it rains in Vancouver. Like duh!! The people who buy the homes are just as stupid. They get this 5-year home owner warranty but don't even read the fine print. They don't realize that the warranty is only good if the house falls down around their ears. Leaks, popped screws and plugged downpipes are not covered. A roof caving in is, but only in the first five years, after that they are out of luck and even the really lousy builders don't build anything that will fall apart in under ten years (unless there's an earthquake).
