INTRODUCTION
Professor Gao is a renown educator of the art of Chinese dancing in China.
He is one of the forerunners who streamlined the curricula for classical Chinese dances in
Chinese dance history.
Professor Gao has pursued a career in Chinese
dancing for over forty years. He is highly honoured in dance field in China for his contributions
to the collation of the series of movements that are now collectively known
as "Classical Chinese Dancing". Professor Gao Devoted much of his research
on the theories surrounding the modern day concept of the art of Chinese dancing.
Professor Gao is an extraordinary dance educator. Many of well-known
performers, who are the winners of China national or world
dance competition awards, were once under Professor Gao's instruction.
Professor Gao also published some others books and nearly a hundred of thesis on related topics.
