Since the beginning of October 1998 I have slogged along with 25 other members of the class, to fulfill the necessary requirements for this certificate. Lotssssssss of homework!!
A Brief Bio
A little bit about me
I came to Vancouver from Glasgow/Scotland in 1981, where I spent 2 years as a Nanny. On gaining my landed immigrant status I started work at the University of British Columbia in the Physiology Dept. as a research technician. Since then I have become a Canadian Citizen. I am now married and have two children, Sean and Samantha.

I attended B.C.I.T. and obtained a Medical Office Assistant Certificate. From there I worked at St. Pauls Hospital in Vancouver, first of all in the Histology dept. and then in Radiology and the Cardiac Cath. Lab.
My next step was the ITCSS program which I am hoping will give me the skills to find a job in the world of computers and information technology. I have enjoyed most aspects of the course but the Web design part has been especially fun. I only wish I had more energy at this point to put into it! It's been a slice all!!!
