I have many diverse Interests. Many of which are sports oriented like hockey and golf. I also enjoy Traveling and I spent a year doing that in Australia and Asia.

I was born in Michigan when my dad was playing hockey. So right from the start hockey was at the forefront of my life. I played my first game while I was still in diapers at the age of two and I played throughout my life. I played my high school and Junior hockey at Notre Dame which is known worldwide for its hockey program. From Notre Dame I went on a hockey scholarship to North Dakota State University. College was fun, although I didn't get to class as much as I should have. I played there for two years before moving on to San Diego to play Semi-Pro hockey for the San Diego Gulls. Hockey has been a huge influence on my life and has given that competitive spirit to succeed.

The other sport that has been an enormous influence on my life is Golf. It is the other one that I have played ever since I was very young. In the summers when I could no longer play hockey I would spend my days out on the course practising my golf and on some days playing three rounds. I grew up playing golf only secondary to hockey, but just this past year have started to take it serious and try and improve my game. My idol in golf is as you might of guessed Greg Norman, who is here on the left. I try and mold my game after his, especially his heart and desire to win and play his best.

This past year I went on a trip throughout Australia and South-East Asia. It was the most amazing adventure I had ever been on. I started out in New Zealand and spent about three weeks touring throughout the country. From here I then traveled over to Australia where I was planning to stay for a while in Sydney and work to make some money. The aprtment I stayed in was close to one of the most famous beaches in Australia. The name of it is Bondi Beach and it was easy to spend the whole day laying around as long as the sun didn't get me. Once I was done working in Sydney I started to travel accross through the middle of Australia and I visited Ayers Rock. This is a fascinating place. It is an Aboriginal burial ground and is held sacred to the people. It is icredibly hot out there in the desert and it is very hard to stay out for very long without an air conditioned vehicle to retreat to. Ayers Rock is also amazing because it changes colors depending on the time of the day and the angle of the sun on it. There are sunset viewing time where you can go to see some of the transformations. I ended up staying in Astralia for 7 months and still didn't see all that I wanted to see.
From Australia I went into Asia and my first stop was Indonesia where I spent a month and a half. It was incredibly cheap to live and travel here so I wanted to stay longer, but my time line would not allow it. After I left Indonesia, I spent some time in Singapore and Malaysia. This picture was taken in downtown Kuala Lumpur. The markets are very interesting to visit and shop from because you can bargain your way down to a lower price. My final destinations were Thailand and Hong Kong. I spent four weeks between the two and visited many Buddhist temples and shrines. To see and experience many of the different cultures in the world, especially in Asia was very awakening and has created many memories I will carry for a lifetime.
